When you register online with us, here are the T&Cs you are agreeing to:

 

• You must be over 18 years to use sunbeds. If you are under 25, please bring ID on your first visit. You will be refused a sunbed without it.

• Personal Data. We use your email address to confirm your registration with Oasis and to send appointment confirmations and reminders. We will not pass your information to any third party. By accepting this agreement, you confirm we can store and use your data for these purposes.

• The personal details you provide are held on a secure, web based bank grade database but are not used for any other purposes other than those detailed above. Our full privacy policy is available on our website.

Important safety information regarding the use of sunbeds

​Tanning on indoor equipment should be treated with the same caution as normal sunlight. A tan should be built up gradually. Never repeat tanning if any signs of redness remain from previous sunbathing or tanning.

​

Always remove contact lenses/glasses and always wear the CE approved goggles/eyewear provided. Keep eyes closed and avoid looking directly at the UV lamps. Do not touch or tamper with the light tubes or the sunbed.

It is recommended all traces of make-up, lipstick, perfumed body lotions and sprays are removed before using a sunbed as they may cause skin sensitivity or reactions.

​No lotions should be applied unless they are specifically formulated for use on sunbeds. Any tanning lotion not purchased from our salon must be shown to staff before use to ensure it will not damage acrylics. This includes all oils and popular TikTok lotions such as Fox Tan, Shine, etc. Such lotions are BANNED as they cause expensive damage to sunbed acrylics. Your account will be closed immediately if used and no refund given for any remaining credits on your account.

​If you suffer from ill effects from normal sunbathing, epilepsy, diabetes, heart conditions, abnormal blood pressure, hormone irregularities, headaches/migraine, hypertension, fainting/giddiness, prickly heat, cold sores, moles and allergies, or if you are currently under medical supervision for any condition please seek medical advice before using the sunbed.

You cannot use our sunbeds if you are pregnant.

​

The weight limit for our laydown sunbeds is 18 stone. 

​

Oasis staff are unable to provide any medical advice.

Agreement Checklist

1. I understand that minutes will be deducted from my account if I give less than one hour’s notice to cancel or change the time of an appointment, or if I don’t show up for the appointment.

2. I understand that refunds will not be given for unused or expired minutes.

3. I have read and understood the contents of this agreement and I have consulted my GP where necessary.

4. I undertake to advise Oasis if my medical circumstances change.

5. I am over 18 years of age and I am satisfied I am suitable to use UV tanning equipment.

6. I understand that by registering and booking a sunbed at Oasis, I am confirming I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
